How do I practice green computing

Cloud computing has reached at a great time. It is determined that the worldwide spending over public cloud computing services would develop from 2011 to 2020.

The specific meaning of green computing coverage is very widely. There is no a good definition.

But it believed green computer is accord with environmental protection concept mainframe computer and related products (including monitors, printers and other peripherals), save electricity, low noise, low pollution, low radiation, material recycling and accord with human body engineering characteristics of the product.

Green computing can be thought of as in concerned with the problem of computer system energy consumption at the same time, focus on the dangers of users, resource usage and waste, waste, radiation problem, carry out the idea of energy-saving, environmental protection and saving.Although this idea has been put forward as early as 1992, the relevant technology also had great progress, but in the development of IT in China, green computing is still not widely recognition and actual execution.The main and ideas are being insufficient, manufacturers and users enough attention to it.The increase in costs, technology is not mature and adverse effects on computer performance expectations are also green computing is difficult to introduce one of the important reasons.

My ERP presentation

 The presentation is a good way to share my ideas to  people, and also a good chance to show me in the class. 

I have a presentation in the Strategic Technology Management class at 11 SEP 2015, the topic is EPR. 

My topic is  ERP Security and risk, and what we should to do.

My main ideas is about system, ERP means one, single system for the whole enterprise. Security is part keeping it running all day, every day, for everyone and part keeping everyone outside who has no business on the inside.

There are more and more danger coming, inside and ourside ERP system.

Today more and more mobile users in our ERP systems. At the same time we want to connect with our smart phones and other mobile devices form outside. the whole system becom more and more danger by users. 

One more thing is more delivery platforms also today. The entire system including the software and all the data is kept somewhere else and maintained by a third party provider. so the ERP system get more and more bug in the whole ERP system.

The third thing is sensitive data. HR is more frequently a component of today’s ERP, so more and more sensitive data in the ERP system, we have to focus on it and try to protect our data safty.

For all of those problem, we can fix it by the follow way

• Change passwords frequently 
• Limit the data any one person can access 
• Log everything
• Maintain a firewall 
• Encrypt your data 
• Secure against fraud 
• Track use of social networks 
• Control external storage by employees 
• Watch traffic through customer and supplier portals 

This is all of my presentation in the Strategic Technology Management class. 

For this presentation, i think i can be better than what i did in the class, and i think i can reading more web and get more information for the topic. it will be better for my topic in this presentation.

My IT Plan B

the problem alway coming, and i don't know when and where, so i alway have paln B. My IT paln B is more important than other, because sometime,the program cannot work with out reason. and cannot fix it.

As a students, the MS office is very useful in my universtiy life. and there is a plan B for MS office. it is WPS office. A software also can reading word,ppt......

Msot of time, i used MS office, it si power and useful. but some time, MS office can not open or reading some file without any reason, just can not open it.

So, i alway have plan B for this status. the WPS office. This software is not good, but sometimes, WPS office can reading most of file.

other thing is some time when i download, the file is very old, like edit by MS office 2003, the MS 2010 can not open sometimes, so i used WPS to open it.
